The guy had a down year finishing the season with 38 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 1 interception. At 5.5 Million for '07 I'm sure Panthers fans were looking for more out of The MAN.

At any rate, his track record and overall demeanor suggests he'll have a bounce back season. Should the Panthers not extend his contract this off-season, there is no way he won't test Free Agency. If you're the Panthers, why let Peppers walk for nothing? I know interdivision trades are almost blasphemy, but considering there arent many teams lining up to take on Julius' pending contract extension, the Bucs with enormous Cap Space are in a position to take the plunge.
