Release Party: Denver Broncos release WR Javon Walker

The Denver Broncos have released WR Javon Walker as of today.

There's no telling what type of contract Javon Walker is looking for, but you have to think the Bucs will listen as just days ago they were rumored to be looking to deal for the guy. I'm not sure he's a good option with the recent injuries he's had, but at this point I wouldnt mind hearing a Walker-to-Bucs-Signing right about now.. ugh

Others are better..

Not real sure I like Walker, Favre gave him his 'break out' season, but between an iffy injury and his attitude, I think there are other options we should be looking at. I'd put money that he goes to the Cowboys anyways, gotta have someone for the pretty boy to throw to. On the other hand, Stallworth would look like a super star in the Bucs O... but thats just me.

it's odd

because I havent heard anything about Stallworth going here or there. To be honest, i was a little shocked when i looked at his numbers, they were better than i thought they would be. He must be wanting #1 type money or something. Plus WR Randy Moss hasnt signed any where either, I'm not sure his personality would gel with Gruden, but I figure we got a 2 year window with Garcia at the helm, Bruce needs to bring in guarenteed threats now...

Plus, with Gruden's track record with injuries, you would think Allen would steer clear of the Hackett's and Walker's of the world for that very reason. I would think a Berrian, Stallworth, and Johnson would garner interest from us just because of their clean bills of health
