Prepare for a (5-10-1) Season, Buc Fans

Let me apologize to those of you who are eating your morning Cheerios in front of the computer ... The Bucs will go (5-10-1) this Season ... let me give you a moment to clean the milk off your monitor ...
That's right Buc fans, Tom Jones of the St. Pete Times has the Bucs 2007 Season all planned out! Here's his score predictions:
Seahawks 27-10 (0-1)
Saints 38-7 (0-2)
Bucs over Rams 23-14 (1-2)
Panthers 24-14 (1-3)
Colts 42-7 (1-4)
Titans 30-20 (1-5)
Bucs over Lions 7-3 (2-5)
Bucs over Jags 12-9 (3-5)
Bucs over Cardinals 24-23 (4-5)
Falcons 38-17 (4-6)
Redskins 17-13 (4-7)
Saints 20-19 (4-8)
Tie with Texans 0-0 (4-8-1)
Falcons 27-10 (4-9-1)
49ers 3-2 (4-10-1)
Bucs over Panthers 33-3 (5-10-1)
Bucs Final Record: 5-10-1
I particularly love that Colts score (42-7), it just kinda GLARES at you doesnt it? I mean he uses great theories to back up his claims like, "the Bucs won't be able to stop Shaun Alexander and will fall" and "[Reggie Bush] He'll run for one score, catch another, return a punt and a kickoff for TDs." Gotta appreciate that insight. He's almost as clever as Don Imus. This has gotta be an attempt at a "shock article" because there's stale humor coming out of every score synopsis.
Instead of mocking the rest of this man's article, we'll just tuck this article into the Buc'Em Archives for later "Egg in the Face" field days.

The REAL Season
Stumbling out the gate, we will probably have a hard time Week 1 & 2 against the Seahawks and Saints. Week 3, Tampa Bay will showcase our new offense against the Rams while surpressing theirs(I could start on the Rams secondary),Calvin Johnson & JoJo "Touchdown everyday" Galloway will have career days against the depleted Rams secondary. We have constantly split games with the Panthers so I do not except any differnce this season, we will get at least one win against them this season. We are probably going to get routed by the Colts, but you never know, Coach Gruden might have something up his sleeves for Dungy, lol. Week 6, we will beat a young, inexperience Vince Young(I will give him credit though, he is very talented), then go on the road a beat the "lovable" & "laughable" kitty cats of Detroit. Week 8, is going to be fun when the up-state Jags come to town. We will have ours hands filled with the two-headed monster of Taylor-Jones-Drew.(Yes, JScott, Jones-Drew) Then we go down to the desert for some dessert and sit on Matt Leinart for a quarter or two quarter, easy win. Week 10, we REST!, maybe go back to Tampa & sip some pina coladas in the wonderful Bay Area weather. Back to work Week 11 against dem "dirty birds", our rivals. Always fun to watch both teams go head-to-head. I'll give Vick and the boys this one. We are still holding a grudge for that early Wild Card Loss in 2005, Caddilac rushed for 122 yards on them last season and I accept him to continue even though the Pigskins got London-Fletcher(one of the most underated guys in the league, he is a class act) in the off-season. The Louisanna Superdome saved alot people during Katrina(God Bless New Orleans) and will be the site of a great game. Bucs suprise the nation by almost beating America's team.(No GWing punt return for President Bush, sorry) We will continue our winning ways against the Carr-less and sometimes even careless Texans. (Tie, please thats laughable) Then we will "scramble and fumble" a win at M. Vick & the Falcons expense on Week 15. Our winning streak will be halted by the "new & improved", playoff bound 49ers. It might be gruesome and have a little "Gore", so hopefully the young ones are not watching. We finish the year with the Panthers coming to town. So the rap-up is,
L Seattle (0-1),
L Saints (0-2),
W Ram (1-2),
W Panthers (2-2),
L Colts (2-3),
W Titans (3-3),
W Lions (4-3),
L Jags (4-4)
W Cardinals (5-4)
L Falcons (5-5)
W Pigskins (6-5)
L Saints (6-6)
W Texans (7-6)
W Falcons (8-6)
L 49ers (8-7)
L Panthers (8-8)
In the NFC, (8-8) is good enough for a Wild Card!
GO BUCS!

you had me
Let's just say, I don't hold the Saints as high as you.
Tend to think my boy (Matt Leinart) will give us a good run for our money
it'll be interesting to see how driven the Colts are this year
Jones-Drew, LOL, you got me on that one, i had totally forgotten .... you won't get me again, hah!
and
(8-8) is FAR, FAR, FAR from where Jon Gruden has to get this team to remain as Head Coach for the '08 season.
here's one sneak peak, we'll win the back-to-back games against the Cards and Falcons, becauseeee i'll be at those games (with any luck)
