Bucs sign 33 year old Kevin Carter to 4yr deal

The Bucs have signed DE Kevin Carter to a 4 year deal worth as much as 25 million fa-fillion dollars reports the St. Petersburg Times.
Is it just me or does it feel like we're squandering that 20 or so mil in cap space that we had? I mean we didn't resign a 27 year old DeWayne White because he wanted 5 for 29, but we're willing to hand a 33 year old 4 for 25. Granted Kevin Carter has a track record and has been to the pro bowl. but goodness. Still waiting for OL help . . . Hopefully a Petitgout signing surfaces

When did...
Kevin Carter? When DeWayne White is a young version of Keven Carter before Kevin Carter got old and signed a huge, inflated deal with the Bucs.
Somebody needs to take Gruden's pass away and escort him out of the complex...

I dont get it?!%#@!
I dont know but I would venture to guess the DeWayne was going to play for Rod Marinelli no matter what. I can say this. We sure did miss Rod this past season!

yea
You just gotta wonder about Gruden's love affair with veterans. Kevin Carter hasn't had double digit sacks since '02. He's been in the league 13 years and we give him a 4 year deal. Time will tell, but I'd venture to say this contract will linger
