In an article from the boys at the St. Pete Times, Jon Gruden has expressed interest in implementing "The Shotgun" formation into his version of the West Coast offense this upcoming season.

It's a novel idea if I do say so myself. I'm just puzzled that it took this long to implement such a scenario. One would have thought this would have occured in say Game 2 (at the very least) of last season. The fan base clamored for this ALL SEASON last year and thankfully Jon has seen the light. Hey even Chris Simms is "Excited". Excuse the sarcasm ... I just can't understand what took so long.
