LB Angelo Crowell could be lost for the season
Via Pewterreport.com Linebacker Angelo Crowell left the game with an injury in the third quarter that Raheem Morris said was "season-ending" after the game. Ouch. So much for that low cost high reward investment. Can we now even let Flip move back to Safety? I know were thin in that position, but we may be combing the waiver wire and checking roster cuts. I have a feeling Coach Morris and Company will aquire a few players that aren't in camp right now when it comes down to our final 52. The question is what positions they will fill. Surely it depends if both Jackson and Talib are lost due to suspension. Two guys for me I hope make the team are QB Josh Johnson ( 4 QB's probably won't happen) and RB Kareem Huggins (there is no way he makes it to the practice squad, but do we really carry 5 RB's?)

So we look
Even stupider for letting Brooks go, i mean i said we should have drafted OLB for replace Brooks but now that we have only 1 starting LB is going to hurt our run defense and we need as much help as we can get. I hope we pick brooks up again…..

I saw the injury report and I gotta think that Crowell
is done. We are getting thin very quick now. Some of it due to stupidity (DB), some if it due to injuries.

So with a young Defense
with a young defense (only 1 starting LB), and a questionable qb battle, why do i feel us gong 4-14 which we could get one of the top picks….which puts us in a pickle because do we take a QB? a DT? a LB? a WR? trade the pick ? I know i’m looking way into the future but just looking around and thinking, wtf are we going to do!

in that scenario...
WR, LB, or DE would make the most sense with a top 5 pick, unless a once in a generation DT emerges somewhere. No way they go QB unless Morris goes 0-16 and gets fired, taking his (somewhat justifiable) man-crush on Freeman with him.
HOWEVER… there’s a whole mess of football left to be played. They’ve got what appears to be a very high upside roster. if everyone plays to their potential, there’s no reason to think they couldn’t have a winning season, or hell, even make the playoffs. This should be an interesting season, if nothing else. It’s kind of ridiculous to write them off 2 weeks into the preseason.

Gee, I wonder what OLBs are on the market...
Couldn’t possibly know who the Bucs could consider for Linebacker… there’s a name, I know there is… on the tip of my tongue… could it be… WARREN SAPP?!?!?! Oh wait no he was DT. Who was it we had at Linebacker that was a DEMIGOD AMONG MEN? Hmmm. Jersey number had a couple of 5s in it…
