Quarterback situation not as it seems...?
Hey guys, it's RJ and i just read an interesting article credit to bucscentral.com .
http://www.bucscentral.com/general-news/things-are-not-what-they-appear-at-qb
The signal caller that judged our qb's at last Wednesday's practice said that Josh Freeman looked like our number 1, and Josh Johnson looked like our number 2. Just wanted to hear some input and thought i'd let you guys in on some stuff i read.
I honestly don't think that we can judge any of this until each qb gets a try in the preseason/REAL games. My vote is McCown/Leftwich as opening day starter, and like many others are predicting, Freeman starter by the time we get back from London.
GO BUCS!

I hope
freeman doesn’t see the field this season. I’d rather him sit on the bench and learn, Leftwich + our offense will win games, And next season Freeman will be ready to be a pro bowler

It's wide open I think...
I mean if the whole Freeman 1 and Johnson 2 thing is true than I would say that’s a great thing. I’ve been totally confident that McCown could be very productive in this offense but i also believe Morris when he says he’s going to start the best guy, and if the best guy is Freeman and the next best guy is Johnson… over McCown AND Leftwitch. BAM!… bucs QB problems solved. Two young guys who prove to be better than old underachievers. I LOVE the competition and the pool of guys is pretty talented if you ask me and odds just say that whoever wins the job out of this group has got to be pretty good… at least better than Garcia

Freeman won't start the season....
The best most likely situation for Freeman is that for the first few games at least he will be the #3 QB calling in the plays to get more familuar with the play calling in real game action and the way that the offensive plan works out in a game. After a few games he will move to the #2 QB and wait his opportunity. If the season looks to be a losing one early on, that will determine when in the season he will start if he even does. Personally, I am not looking forward to another Bruce Gradaski season especially since this team finally has some real talented weapons on offense. It is disappointing that so far that talent isn’t included at the QB position.

Oh the possibilities...
Any QB in my opinion has the opportunity to put up big numbers with our weapons. As long as we don’t get a Gradkowski we should be ‘atleast’ decent
