Who's the 3rd LB?
As expected Bates will be instituing a 4-3 defense...and we already know that Flip has been moved to OLB alongside RUUUUUUUD. Fox Sports.com com published "Bucs Tampa-Two defense gets deep six" (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9429938/Bucs-Tampa-Two-defense-gets-deep-six?CMP=OTC-K9B140813162&ATT=5), which got me asking after seeing only 2 LB's identified in the article.
So who do you think will be the #3 in the 4-3? Are Black or Hayes healthy and ready for the job?

Crowell in my opinion....
He did miss playing last season but if he is back to his condisioning and tweaking his skills back to what they once were, Crowell has the ability. Crowell will mostly be our starting Strong side LB (SAM), Ruud of course the middle LB (Mike) and Flip they say is impressing the coaches so he seems to be on track to be our Weak side LB ( Will). If not Flip then Quincy Black has shown great promise. From the way that I understand Coach Bates Defense he likes to blitz a lot and so he likes he rotate in and out his LBs so they get moments to rest and so most of the LB will probably see game time.

I have high hopes
for Crowell based on what you all have stated. I have not seen him play much so I’m looking forward to seeing what he brings on Sunday and one time on Monday or maybe a flex on a Sat….
For those that say it’s a no brainer for Crowell…can we really say anything is a no-brainer in a season we are starting without Brooks as a Buc or Monte running the D?
Black’s time is due…he’s been progressing over the last couple of years so I expect to see him on the field. Let’s not discount Hayes either who until his injury was seeing some playing time especially after the blocked punt in the endzone.
