Bucs poised to draft QB freeman? League source says so.
Lord, please don't let this be true. For those who told me I was stupid for continuing to worry despite signing Leftwich (at no harm of cutting Leftwich for the Bucs, I did point out before!), you all know what you can do. Raheem, Mark... guys... get your heads on straight. This had better be posturing. We'll know in 24 hours.

So noted, dedman, that you posted a similar fanpost a short bit ago. Well done.
I put the link above for the community. Thanks.
Cannons... fire them.

honestly
there’s no way the Jets can trade up to get Sanchez not with the wackos from Washington lurking around, so it’s a near lock that they would take Freeman ahead of us, but that’s when Dedman’s idea about trading up comes in hand….
LOL
Sweat Craig, serves you right for heading to the beach!!!

I don't have Insider...
…and mock drafts are just shots in the dark, but McShay’s latest doesn’t have Maclin going in the top 16. I can’t see 17-32 because again, I don’t have Insider. But what are your thoughts on Maclin if he falls to us? I’d be very up for taking a shot at him.

in his newest mock...
Maclin went to NYJ at 17. I can’t see him falling that far.

But even i know that we don’t need him i honestly hope we don’t draft them. but i still think he will do good where ever he lands :)

Well my source says......
That Biggie Smalls and TuPac aren’t dead. There both coming back and going on tour together…..
Seriously, all of us should take any rumors that are being told and throw them out the window. I believe the Bucs are strategically making others believe they want Josh Freeman. Time will tell.

You can't trust anything that comes out the last week before the draft
Teams float lies like crazy as smokescreens. Look at what the Broncos have been doing about Sanchez.
We may very well take Freeman, but this report doesn’t change my view of who I think we may be taking.

Let me say one quick thing
I hated the Matt Ryan pick, and I spent weeks before the draft lambasting anyone who had us making the pick. Now, I’m not saying Freeman is Ryan, but don’t be too quick to dump on the guy.

fans
are just frustrated with the fact that we have McCown and Johnson rotting on the roster, they want to see what they have and know the defense sorely needs help…
i actually like Freeman despite his completion percentage, td-to-int ratio, and lack of a winning record. I also would understand if the staff went that route. It’s tough though considering a bonafide franchise QB awaits us in 2010’s NFL Draft, though a lot can happen between then and now

For some reason I found this quote funny...
“i actually like Freeman despite his completion percentage, td-to-int ratio, and lack of a winning record.”
So basically the exact things those charts of successful NFL QBs look at? Haha.

i tend to believe
he didnt have the best talent around him which attributed to his woeful stats… who knows how many drops he had that adversely affected his completion percentage…
All i know is this, the Draft is a complete crapshoot. Obviously you try to target guaranteed producers, but at 19th those guys are few and far between especially this year. If the powers that be select Freeman so be it, far it be for me to bash the pick. The guy could end up being fantastic. I could only hope such considering this is the team i have chosen to follow through thick and thin. That doesnt mean i will wear rose colored glasses when covering them as i will point out his inadequacies, but at the same time i hope he (much like Clayton) become world beaters, eh, world champions…
