Will QB Josh Johnson win the starting job?
Im starting to notice the growing fan base for my boy josh johnson and figured id post a bulliton for him out of griese mccown and johnson i think most of us would like to see josh start because of his athletic ability, that and the laser hes got strapped on his arm but really what im gettin on here is if anyone thinks hell actually win the starting job lemme know whatchu think in comments

I think
that he is a good athele but he will take a little more time to develop, i think later in maybe a year from now he should have won the starting job and if he hasnt i hate to say this but then he may be seem as useless. He cant just be a great athlete he has to be a descent QB. Look at VInce Young and Micheal Vick after a while the game was up and they couldnt play that great anymore. I am rooting for him anyway i hope it doesnt pan out that way.

aw cmon now
dont give him put downs for relating him to vick and young JJ has a strong accurate arm unlike either of them

Maybe in college
He could be quite accurate i guess i dont really watch college. so besides the preseason i havent seen him throw. The same stuff is said about every fast QB they were usallly good in college bc they could break out of the pocket and run 20 yards. Unless most of his greatest highlights are runs then he will be just like the rest of them.
I hope he does well though

well first off he was a 2A college QB so you wouldnt of seen him even if you do watch college
but hes a throw first mobile quarterback not a run first mobile qb i watched lots of tape on him

why does everyone think he is the answer for this team stats are one thing but still u can judge a guy just by his stats.

were not all judgeing by stats
were judging by little clips weve seen on him and his ability seeing as tampas never had a mobile QB first of all or even a franchise QB so being that hes young he has that potential and hes mobile thats just and exciting combination

Well
Couldnt u consider Garcia to be a mobile QB so J.J wouldnt be the first mobile QB for Tampa but he is a lot younger than Garcia is and J.J could be a franchise QB i would say it is too early to tell

JJ all the way.
i’m saying this because i never seen him actually play until i seen his highlights and did some more research on him. and i hope he is our starter. but doesn’t mean i would be upset if Mccown gets it. i like him to. i just really wanna see more of JJ.

he could be good in the Future
I like him and i hope he’s in our future but i think for his own good its too early.

wellllll?
for now if we only have a choice between mcown and j.j. i would say whoever performs better, has the better arm, scrambling out of the pocket ability, and makes the bigger plays, and is more accurate which ever one that may be theirs your starter assuming we dont pick up another QB.
