so obviously we drafted talib first round last year

If Alphonso Smith is around when we pick at 19 and theres no other defensive players worth a first pick should we or shouldnt we take him? Why or why not? I think itd be a wise move to set up our secondary for many years to come. Alphonso Smith is 5'9" 190 pounds but plays a lot bigger than he is hes very quick with good hip movement leaping ability and good hands. They say that he reminds people of deon sanders and the kids got swagger and self confidence which is always key.

Poll
should the bucs draft alphonso smith #19?

Big If

honestly i doubt that there wouldn’t be anyone else available in the 19th. i mean most teams are looking to improve the offense right now, being Detroit,St.Louis,Seattle,Oakland,Jacksonville,SF, and Jets. which are 7 teams almost 100% going for a offensive player.

what about the other 11?

they have a good chance at taking high profile defensive players

Need a DT more

We need a Dt the most then i would say corner since Phillips will probably play wlb. I would rather take Evander Hood, Peria Jerry, Michale Johnson, Rob Ayers before we should consider Smtih. There is still decent corners in the FA like gamble, and lucas.

Peria Jerry

I think he would be our best pickup @ 19 if he is still there.

Not to disagree with u

but i hear many saying jerry is not fit for this defense at his height and weight!!!

I like jerry personally if ,he is there, if not then go with a defensive end to be on the other end of adams!!!
