Cutler Rumors won't Die, ESPN sparks the flame again
ESPN.com's NFC South Blogger, Pat Yasinskas, thinks the Jay Cutler to Tampa Bay Buccaneers trade option is still a REAL possibility, he correlates the recent Koutouvides acquisition as a sign of things to come:
"Those who follow the Broncos regularly said Koutouvides was one of the closest friends of …(drum roll please) quarterback Jay Cutler. That's right, the same guy the Bucs unsuccessfully tried to trade for over the weekend. Cutler and Koutouvides played together for only one season, but observers said they struck up a strong friendship." - Pat Yasinskas of ESPN.com
"As I've been saying all along, I don't think this Cutler thing is over. It's common knowledge the Broncos at least considered trading him and that means the quarterback and the team might not be able to get over some hard feelings. It's a pretty safe assumption that Cutler might be even more on the block than he was before. Don't rule out Tampa Bay and Denver working out a trade." - Pat Yasinskas of ESPN.com
Here's the thing: The Bucs had interest in signing Kouts last off-season and lost out to the Broncos, clearly they didnt have thoughts of Cutler then as he and Jay had yet to meet. More importantly, the Broncos-Patriots-Bucs trade was essentially a once in a lifetime offer. Broncos new Head Coach Josh McDaniels wanted QB Matt Cassel as he was incredibly comfortable with him. I think that's as far as the discussions went and will go, but I had to bring this info to the masses...
Hat tip to Matt for the link...

Well you keep on
bringing it up..
I will definitely say that if there is in any way that this trade does happen, I will be taking a homer pick next year for my FF quarterback which means that I’ll probably have to switch my strategy from a RB too a QB in 2nd round.. hmm

oh please
please let Cutler get traded to the Bucs.
We can do it! We might need a 3rd team (Cleveland and Derek Anderson seem like a good fit).
