Bucs to meet with WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh Sunday
The Buccaneers are expected to meet with Free Agent WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh Sunday. I guess he didnt sign in that 15 minute window his agent gave him Friday Morning. For the record T.J. has drawn interest from Detroit, Seattle, Minnesota and Philadelphia. I didnt realize Detroit signed WR's I assumed they just drafted them. He said he wants to play for good Coaches, good Offensive Lines, and good Running Games. He suggested he'd like to play for Philly, New York, Seattle, or Minnesota... Keep your fingers crossed.

I guess it's a positive that he's meeting with the Bucs.
He’s been adamant about wanting to play with a proven QB. Let’s hope management is able to show him something. Throwing to Bryant, Winslow, and Housh should make any QB’s job a little easier.

what could they possibly have to meet about though
it’s the NFL, it’s a business (as we’ve been told), offer a contract already..
I assume he’s coming to survey the location, facilities, coaches, personnel etc, but why not have an offer on the table that initially sparks his interest. For all we know that could be the case as nobody knew about the Winslow deal until well after it had initially been completed

I would imagine they probably will have an offer on the table...
…if they don’t already. Remember we rarely hear about the offers until after it’s all said and done. They wouldn’t mess around and meet with him and then leave it with “well, we’ll get back to you.”

LOL
i know, i’m just be naive… i guess i’m getting sick of all the ‘meetings’ to meet with players while other franchises are actually signing folks
i wonder if the treatment of Derrick Brooks effects future signings or if it’s just about the dollars and cents

for some reason
i trust nfl.com a little bit more for nfl news than the tribune haha tjs not signin here unless the bills are significantly more than other offers considering hes stated he would like to play with the eagles and donovan if they give him a decent offer

That's what I'm thinking too...
…only if we offer him the world basically.

The Tribune said they disputed any rumprs about him visiting tampa.
If he’s not visiting then Ward,Henderson, and Moore needs to be in 1 buc place ASAP unless we can Percy Harvin in the Draft dat wud b lovely.

I would love to get Harvin.....
I went to Harvin’s highschool games……(Landstown High, Virginia Beach, VA)…..In a game with Tallwood High….reception, rushing, interception, punt return, and kick return….for a Touchdown….He made it look too easy…..now he benches 400+….4.45 40…….and he kicked my Sooners ass in Nat Champ Game……..Let’s do it…..!!!!!!!
#19…….Percy Harvin……good day one draft….
