Classic Enemy Flashback; Bucs FIRST WIN EVER- Dec 11th, 1977

Talk about a losing streak; The NFL has never seen anything else like it, not since either. Back then the seasons were 14 games, not 16. The Bucs lost every game in 1976, and it looked like they were going to do the same thing in '77. The losses were a lot closer though. There were many 10-0 games, as the Bucs had the 13th ranked defense; respectable. But they were dead last in offense.

Look at some of the scores of games lost during 1977..

3-13, 3-9, 0-10, 0-13, 0-10, 7-16, 0-17, and the last loss in the 0-26; a 0-10 loss to the Bears. Then Came this. 3 Defensive touchdowns; and in a week or so, Hank Stram was fired as Head Coach of the Saints. Over 8,000 Bucs fans showed up at the Airport to welcome home the Bucs!

After beating the Saints on the road, the Bucs came home and beat the Cardinals, for a two game win streak! This is how pitiful the offense was; In that Cardinals game, the Bucs scored their first offensive touchdown of the year at home!

Yea, I made a couple of comments on it. Y’all probably won’t like my second one.

I know you’re 1-8 and, yes, that sucks but, support your team for God’s sake. The Saints have had just as miserable a season multiple times. Just suck it up and support your team with everything you’ve got. I know that’s easy for a Saints fan to say at this point in time. I’ve been a Saints fan since their franchise opened in 1967. Been there!

Here’s hoping for a good, injury free game in 5 1/2 hours. Of course I hope the Saints win but, good luck, fellas!

Look at your blog.

Your last fanpost was 4 days ago. On the Saints blog the fanposts are being refreshed and uploaded as we read the old ones; 4 hours old. For example, as I’m typing this, you and I will have made a total of 5 comments, and 3 of them are mine! Come on, you Buccaneers! Jump in here and talk trash. That’s what makes these blogs fun! Good natured jabbing and counterpunching!

As a minimum, correct my grammer and punctuation like those idiots on the Falcons blog do!!!

So because we don't have fanposts, we aren't supporting our team?

That;s a bit of a stretch and reading a lot into things that aren’t there. People can also fan post a lot when they are asking one question in the fan post as opposed to posting that question in another similar thread.

I can’t speak for all of my fellow Buc ’Em readers/writers, but I know that regardless of my post count I have been and will be supporting the Bucs.
