Sears reinstated to team
The Buccaneers announced today that they have reinstated G Arron Sears to the team.
Under the terms of his reinstatement, the team will have a two-week exemption in which Sears will not count towards the Buccaneers 53-man active roster. He is eligible to practice with the team and attend all team activities. Sears was placed on the Reserve/Did Not Report list on July 31, 2009.
"We welcome Arron back to the team," said Buccaneers General Manager Mark Dominik. "Throughout this process we have remained in close contact with Arron and his agent, and this is a good opportunity for him to integrate himself back into our football team."

This is awesome news...
Many considered Sears the best lineman, or at least second to Joeseph. Now, we have 6 solid starters for 5 positions, and Zuttah becomes the depth on the line this team has needed.
Personally, I do not care what happened, and respect the mans wishes for privacy. From what I reported on my old site, it was more than likely due to a post concussion type of depression.
Water under the bridge Aaron, welcome back to the Bucs….Go Bucs 2010!

I'm just happy to hear this based on his health
Football is secondary and while I’d love to have him back to on the team this is good news from a health and psychological view.

is Aaron
Capable of being switched over to RT for Trueblood? Or Zuttah? I like Trueblood but having both Sears and Zuttah out there at the same time is a great increase!

.
In the long run, i’d like to see Trueblood replaced by Zuttah while Sears gets his old spot back next to Faine.

Let's not get too excited
We have no clue what type of shape Aaron is in right now or if he can even crack the starting lineup. My hope is that he can come into the left guard position next year and we can try moving Zuttah to RT next year because Trueblood is struggling. But he reassures our depth on the offensive line now.

I hope he can come back
depth is valuable…… IF Sears can perform at the level he was at last year with Zuttah backing everyone up….we would be in a great situation!

As Yamotha4dinner pointed out..
indeed, Sears is not expected in the line up this year.
Hey, at least we know he is back.
