New Coaching??
Now i like Reheem; It is not completely his fault that we are 0-7 right now. And our secondary is starting to look good again, and even though we traded Adams our Line is kind of getting pressure on the QB (kinda) but i look around the league and another great coach is 0-6....Yes Jeff Fisher. Now maybe it's the 0-7 talking but Jeff Fisher is a vet. and he knows how to change a football team. Again, we can't really blame Reheem because it's obvious the Glazers are looking to sell and went on a huge Fire sale (get ride of vets. higher a cheep young HC) I'm sure they are looking to sell before we sign that number 2 over all pick. Whoever ends up buying the Bucs i hope they see Fisher and that cap space and feel that we can easily turn this team around. I want to hear from you guys. If Jeff Fisher is available would you want the Bucs (who ever owns the team) to go out and higher him or should we stay with Reheem and hopefully he can do something with he cap space and the high draft pick?

I think with such a mess for a team....
It will take an experienced knowledgable guy who has coached many years in this league to fix the majority of the problems and get back to winner sooner.
If they keep Morris as HC or even go with another young guy for HC then they are just adding more years to the chances of the Bucs getting back to a winning team.
Morris lacks crucial knowledge and experience not ever being a DC or OC and it shows. It seems The Glazers were hoping in hiring him that they would get lucky and Morris would be like “catching lightening in a bottle” but instead the circumstances look more like a light bug in the day time!

Would you take 49ers coach Mike Singletary?
Because he was promoted from a position coach to head coach too.
You could grab any coach you want, and not one of them could coach this team to more than one or two wins. There is no talent here, and that falls on the previous regime for applying BandAids instead of drafting properly.
If anyone can get production out of Gaines Adams, it will be Rod Marinelli. Good Luck Gaines and thank you Bucs for restoring my confidence that there is accountability.

That is just an opinion....
No way to really ever know. Maybe, just maybe, a coach with many years of experience could come in and put players in the right place in the right situations to utilize the players talents to get the best results and possibly pull out some wins. I understand people favoring a person and WANTING them to succeed so badly that they will make excuses for them or deflect blame on others to protect them but at the end of the day it all hasn’t changed that person or made him any better.
To my understanding HC have their say in the Coaches they want on their staff, players that they want to start and a huge part in the game plan. If so, their is no way that Morris is blameless in all this nor should he be protected, not held responsible and even not be held accountable. Blame the players but he picked them to be on his roster, blame the other coaches but he likely had a huge say in hiring them or even blame the past regime but they won many games and likely would still have won some this year (will never Know). I have nothing against the guy personally but I am also NOT a fan of 1 person, I AM A FAN OF THE TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS and anyone who is even partly to blame for bring shame upon the team needs to be removed. That is just my take on it!

Bucs and Broncos began the season in very similar positions
In putting together this Broncos team, Josh McDaniels had a lot of say in bringing in people who were not the best players, but the right ones that fit the scheme. If Morris didn’t have input into his personnel, he should have.
I’m not saying the Bucs should be 6-0 at this point (Heck, the Broncos shouldn’t be 6-0), but it’s ultimately the responsibility of the coach to put the talents of his team to best use. Raheem Morris is a very likable guy, and he might be a good head coach one day, but his resume didn’t indicate he was ready for the job, and he has yet to show otherwise.
Incidentally, what do you think about the theory that Morris was hired as HC because he would be cheap while the Glazers continue to pay Gruden’s salary?

Thats rediculous.
Not bringing in a new coach is much cheaper that paying for a new coach. You can just leave Gruden there and pay him if you dont care about your team.
The glazers dont want 9-7 teams. They want championships.
Remember, these are the same owners who fired Tony Dungy because going to the playoffs was not enough.
People do not change.
Instead, find another reason for the problem.
Like, maybe the team is just rebuilding like all nfl teams do.
San Francisco in the 80s-90s, and Dallas Cowboys from 60s-70s-mid 80s, = only two teams that went so long without having to rebuild and sacrifice the win column.
Not saying the plan is guaranteed to win, you never know, but that is the point..
you NEVER know.
It will be a few years before we know if the plan was a good one.
The OC change was a mistake. Playing Leftwich/McCown was a mistake.
I seriously doubt either one of those things would have made a difference with the defensive line we have right now.
Give these men two years to pick up10-12 more major impact players. Then tell me if we are bad, I will support you.

Never said he was blame less...
But the blame is not all on him either.
Bottom line is NFL teams do this once in a while. Its normal. I dont know a single NFL team over the last 20 years that hasnt had to rebuild and suffer in the win column.
And Morris and Dominik did not put these players on the field. They put SOME players on the field, but not all of them. In about 3 years, THEN you can say Morris and Dominik are responsible for the players on the field.
That is an opinion too, like everything written in here.

I truely enjoy good debates on the Bucs, and I really do respect everyones opinion.
I wont sit here and say Morris is not a bad coach…I feel he is going to be a good coach, Im just saying you MUST give him time before you judge him.

Well,
We could be the Oakland Raiders and start firing coaches midseason.
