Glass Half Empty
I think its become more and more clearer that Raheem Morris is way over is head. I noticed in some games that the team have some promising starts, only to fizzle in the second half. I think one of the signs of a good head coach is the adjustments made during the game and in the second half. The Buc's have been out scored in the second half of every game this year.
vs Dallas 14 - 21
vs Buffalo 6 - 13
vs N.Y. Giants 0 - 10
vs Washington 3 - 16
vs Philadelphia 7 - 12
vs Carolina 14 - 21
In 4 out of 6 games we haven't put up more than 10 pts, while allowing an averging a little over 12pts. After the way the first half of the Carolina game ended I expected the team to come out fired up and very physical. That didn't happen and the Panthers final drive consistented of only run plays and no adjustments were made to stop them. I hope that Raheem is not in charge long enough to show the team footage of that game to fire the team up.

I think they ran out of gas from being on the field for so long in the second half. I agree that they need to make better adjustments though. I still think it is too early to judge Morris. I think it was Niko that wrote about all the great coaches with awful starts. We are unfortunately living through that right now. I am a "half full" kind of a guy though.

He is in over his head and I believe those games were winnable. I think the play calling has been horrible, I think Lefty shouldn’t have been benched due to horrible play calling, I think the defense needs to learn how to tackle, and now I think they need to throw Freeman into the fire (experience now is better than going through this all over again next year). I remember people predicting a 9-7 record where I said 2-14, now I’m worried we won’t get 1. It’s a mess, Morris is not qualified for the job, maybe in the future, but not right now.

Yeah...
Um, what game are we supposed to win this year?
I live in Seattle now and my buddies out here can’t wait for Tampa to come out in December. Either we need to seriously improve or someone has to hand us a win if we’re to avoid the fate of the Lions of last year.

This is true...
but looking at the schedule it is a long shot. Especially after the Redskins losing to the Lions and the Eagles to the Raiders I assume teams will be extra cautious NOT to be the ones to lose to the Bucs!

I'm thinking Miami might be a victim of over confidence

We need more talent on the team. You cant make those adjustments mid season much less mid-game.
If anyone can get production out of Gaines Adams, it will be Rod Marinelli. Good Luck Gaines and thank you Bucs for restoring my confidence that there is accountability.
