Hey Bucs fans, Al needs your advice
That's right. By now you know the troubles JaMarcus Russell is having completing a pass, hanging on to the football, etc. As fate would have it, Gradkowski is the second string QB for the Raiders now. Now Al Davis doesn't know Grad like you guys do, so what say you? If they were to bring Gradkowski in tomorrow, would he be an improvement over Russell? Or would Al be better off taking over the quarterbacking himself?

I’m sure they wish they still had Garcia…

A lot of Raiders do want him back
But he doesn’t want to be here, so that’s irrelevant. I don’t want him, personally, because of you guys. Because awhile back the Bucs organization said they couldn’t even give him away, and despite having QB troubles now, still don’t want him back. Nor does any other team, so why, I keep asking myself, do Raiders fans think he still can make a difference when nobody else in the league does.

At this point, I think a drunk two year old would be better than Russell
It’s been awhile since we’ve seen Gradkowski. He had two HORRIBLE games last year as a Brown. He seems to fit best in an offense that requires NO down field throws which is the opposite of what Al Davis wants.

I agree with BucWild,
Downfield throws are not his specialty. He was best in his first game as a pro, at New Orleans week 4 2006. Then his numbers got worse, even though he got a few W’s. Eventually it got so bad, Gruden had no choice but to change him out, and in one half the offense went from “cant score a TD in 2 games” to scoring 4 TD in a half.
Last time in a Buc uniform, Gradkowski took over for an injured Garcia and did NOTHING with the ball despite 5 turnovers.
Sometimes a good benching is what a QB needs. Trent Dilfer and Vinny Testeverde played their best games after being benched. How often can you bench someone though??
If anyone can get production out of Gaines Adams, it will be Rod Marinelli. Good Luck Gaines and thank you Bucs for restoring my confidence that there is accountability.

Gradkowski single handedly took a playoff team and lost with it, although he was a rookie, it just wasn’t pretty. My opinion, in which many agree with me about the Raiders is uncle Al. The 70’s are gone and with it his football knowledge. The game has just flat out passed him by. So when he’s gone, maybe things can be fixed there, but it is a mess, like here. At least Tom Cable could beat up Raheem Morris. ;)

I see no comparisons to the Raiders and Bucs organizations.
Only the record.

When the teams
Like the raiders beat the eagles and the giants get stomped by the saints and the cowboys barely beat the chiefs does that mean the bucs are even worse than we thought?

I thought about that myself....
The Chiefs won today so that is another team that is off the winless list and the Rams took the Jaguars to overtime. Basically just based on the recent events the worse record may come down to being between the Bucs and the Titans Who both where good teams before this season. Who Knew!

No I really feel The Rams are worse than we are.
Not only in play, but as a franchise, personnel.
We at least have a future QB prospect, and several Defensive standouts that are young. Plus an O line.

Who are the standouts in your opinion?
I think we have several serviceable players, but I wouldn’t call any of them standouts.
I should probably clarify that by “standout” I imagine a player that is top five or ten at his position in the NFL. I don’t think we any players that meet that qualification. Maybe Ruud, but I don’t think he would be picked as one of the top five middle linebackers in the NFL.
The Rams are bad, but we are worse (this season)
I do agree that we are much more sound organization than them though.

I guess I loosely used the word standout. Your right, the word could mean anything. But Id say standout is less than probowl calibur, and yet have more than just potential. Its a player reaching his potential, and starting to stand out now...
Aqib Talib
Tanard Jackson
Jimmy Wilkerson
Barrett Ruud
and maybe Geno Hayes and Quincy Black are starting to get there.

I would agree with that
I also hope Roy Miller will be on that list very soon.

I say no one does it.
Bucs win on British Soil, as those guys over there have been waiting 20+ years to see their team play at home….God Save the Queen (and the Bucs)!
