Don't blame Morris/Dominik just yet!
My goal of this post was to provide a distinguishable amount of research on why the bucs are 0-5. The million dollar question, is it Raheem Morris, Mark Dominik, the players, the Glazers, Gruden/Allen? Even though I have no real conclusion, I spent too long to post nothing.

The Defense looks like it was in a decline, but the offense is much better...Did Morris/Dominik receive a terrible team and make it worse, or did they start the rebuilding process?IDK...
Are they stuck with a terrible team becuase the Glazers are cheap? IDK...
"A lot of our mind-set is that we still have players on this team that we don't want to see become free agents one day," Dominik said. "That's important, but I think what the public and the fans need to know is that there are players on this team we don't ever want to become the free agent for somebody else, and you have to budget that accordingly".
"Dominik says - much like Bruce Allen before him - that the Bucs need cap space so they can tie up core players. Except they rarely do that. Barrett Ruud is their best player on defense, and he's annoyed because he doesn't have a long-term deal. Antonio Bryant was the team MVP, and he's ticked because he's on a one-year deal."
"The Bucs have spent the least amount of money on player costs between 2004 and 2008 than any other NFL team, according to a recent article on NFL.com."
"It's never been stated like that, nor have I been under that impression my last six or seven months on the job, or the years prior as director of pro [personnel]," Dominik said. "It's been, 'Lets spend our money smart.' Although he didn't dispute published reports that the Bucs lead the NFL with more than $35 million in cap space, Dominik said there's more to the story."
"People that say the Glazers are cheap don't realize they fired Jon Gruden with three years left on his contract, along with Bruce Allen. They could have tried to ride that out."
"Albert Haynesworth recently said Tampa Bay offered him more money than Washington during a recent interview on Sirius NFL Radio, but he wanted to play in a bigger market. He settled for a seven-year contract with the Redskins worth $100 million."
Here are some things Morris/Dominik has done that make you question this dynamic rookie duo.
-After spending the entire camp with Mcnown and Leftwich battling for the #1 spot and stated JJ is a career back up, but then named him the starter a couple weeks later. Career backup starts over franchise QB.
- Dared the media to question the signing of Michael Clayton to a long term deal. Becuase of his intangibles.
- Made Kellen Winslow the highest paid TE in the NFL.
- Let Jeff Garcia go and end up starting Bryon Leftwich to start the season.
- Morris says theres no difference between losing by 3 or 10, but kicks a FG on the 4 yard line when down by 6 with 4min left.
- Lets Clifton Smith handle the rock in crunch time instead of Cadillac. Resulting in a fumble.
- Fired OC 10 days before the season started.
Gruden/Allen left the Bucs terrible...
Glazers are cheap...
If the 2 statements above are indeed true surely we cant put all the blame on Morris/Dominik. Although Dominik thinks the Glazers arnt cheap, and the offense was cleary better last season. With the QB issues and firing of the OC abruptly, and debatable play calling...Did the dynamic rookie duo with the intentions to start a rebuilding season make them worse...? HAHA i STILL DONT HAVE A FREKIN CLUE.
ps. those are all quotes from various websites.

Combination of Rebuilding and changings Schemes
They didn’t bring in enough playoff talent and they completely changed the defense. The offense blocking schemes changed and the players haven’t caught up to it.
It’s a catch 22. If you had the players, they could adjust to the scheme changes. We don’t so it makes the transition ten times harder.
We have tons of holes. We need RE and a DT in the offseason to create more pressure. We need safeties that can read and support the corners on the deep ball.
The offensive line hasn’t grown into the Zone Blocking scheme yet and have missed Jeff Faine due to injury. The left side of the line needs to be upgraded in the offseason.

Yea but...
It you saw the last 5 games of defense last season, they had no other choice but to go in a different direction. This is a first year defense with a lot of young players. Last years defense was full of vetarans and had no excuses for such poor performances.
Considering all the problems with the OC, and QB’s I dont know if they are in the right direction…well see when Freeman gets his chance.

Yeah....
If we could have landed Haynesworth and Vilma…..the defense would look alot different.

There’s been a lot of bad coaching and GM moves, they is more than enough blame to be on them. They’re in charge and lack the experience, they should go.

Well todays move shows they have made some GOOD GM moves.
We got rid of mistakes like Adams and Jackson, with Clayton probably on the way if he doesnt shape up.
If anyone can get production out of Gaines Adams, it will be Rod Marinelli. Good Luck Gaines and thank you Bucs for restoring my confidence that there is accountability.
