Buccaneers sign 10 Free Agents... Blah!

In case you missed it, the Bucs signed 10 free agents this week. The caliber of player? Practice Squad bound:

T Anthony Alabi
K Shane Andrus
CB Kyle Arrington
DT Chris Bradwell
CB Greg Fassitt
DE Louis Holmes
LB Jamall Johnson
DT Dre Moore
TE Jason Pociask
G Julius Wilson

The familiar players you ask? 4th Round Draft Pick Dre Moore, who the Bucs traded up to Draft last off-season. The other could be Chris Bradwell, I think the Bucs either discussed drafting him or something along those lines. I'm too lazy to look it up as these guys won't see the light of day in a regular season match-up.

Because they are prospective backups

They’ll be fighting with other also-rans for backup rolls through training camp. Of course, they could very well be jettisoned at any time as well.

Basically the Bucs just want to retain them. It doesn’t mean they are committed to them, though.
