Former Buccaneer Randall McDaniel Elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame
Randall McDaniel only spent two years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is mostly remembered for his time with the Minnesota Vikings, but we can still recognize him and congratulate him for his election to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
On Saturday, McDaniel was one of six announced the have been elected to the Hall. He spent most of his career with the Vikings before coming to the Bucs in 2000. Although he only spent two years with Tampa Bay before retiring, McDaniel did make the Pro Bowl in 2000. Over his career, he was a 12-time Pro Bowler and 9-time All-Pro.
McDaniel became the third player to have suited up for the Bucs to be elected to the Hall. Lee Roy Selmon and Steve Young are the others.

i hate Steve Young being
associated with the Bucs, he spent what two years here? His tenure with the Bucs is almost as meaningless as Steve Spurrier’s tenure. I see Steve Young Buccaneer jerseys on EBay and i cringe…

Honestly...
…the same could be said for McDaniel too. Neither made their mark as Bucs, which is why we commonly refer to Selmon as the only Buccaneer Hall of Famer.
