Recently released Buccaneers QB Chris Simms signs with the Tennessee Titans

With Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young suffering a sprained mcl this weekend, guess who finally latched on with another team? ESPN.com reports former Tampa Bay Buccaneer QB Chris Simms has agreed to terms with the Titans and will join their team pending the completion of a physical Wednesday.

I'm happy for Chris, I really am. He's going to play for a great Head Coach and a very good Offensive Coordinator. Simms is expected to back-up current back-up in QB Kerry Collins. Hopefully Chris can get acclimated quickly over there and prepare to contribute at some point. For Chris' sake I hope it was a multi-year deal. I'd hate to see him become a journeyman QB ala Joey Harrington...

Good luck Chris!!!
