Buccaneers RB Graham gets paid... Garcia next?
...UPDATE...
Per Adam Schefter of the NFL Network, on the same day the Bucs have signed Earnest Graham to a respectable contract, they are reportedly in talks of bringing in Ex-Lion RB Kevin Jones to Tampa. Insiders say Jones finds the Bucs situation enticing. I loved watching Jones at Virginia Tech, but he's been nothing short of a monumental bust if you compare his two careers.. With Dunn, Bennett, Cadillac, and starting RB Graham, I dont see where Tampa is all that enticing, but hey, I wouldnt mind bringing Kevin Jones aboard, if anything he'd be fun to play with on Madden...
The highly publicized grievance between RB Earnest Graham and his inability to get paid by his employer is officially over, as the RB will be paid $11 Million over 4 years reports the St. Pete Times.
I never talked about this situation much this off-season, as i thought it was a mute point and almost inevitable that Earnest would indeed be paid. Such is the final outcome. Now everything is right in Buc 'Ville... Well, almost everything.. [Insert predictable Garcia Complaining Quotes Here] those are sure to come...

Earnest goes to the bank! All I can say is about time!
All I can say is about time! I know it’s been a long and somewhat drawnout affair between the Bucs and our lovable RB. However, in the end, it is as it is supposed to be. Earnest Graham is a Buc for the long haul. Now if Bruce Allen and company can come up with a few extra bucks and give it to Jeff Garcia so he can shut up and play ball. Only then will everything be right in the universe.

Oh yeah......
As for Kevin Jones in a Bucs uniform? Not gonna happen IMO. There were 4 or 5 teams watching his workout and we weren’t one of them so that kind of tells me something. If we are going to bring in any banged up running back for a chance to make our roster, I would choose Shaun Alexander. I would trade/release Bennett for one or two good years of Alexander. I believe he will be the comeback player of the year, but as of now I know not many people believe that.

EASY E IS GIVEN THE MONEY!
GOOD JOB ON THE BUCCANEERS GIVING GRAHAM A NICE RAISE. HE CERTAINLY EARNED IT. WOULDNT MIND SEEING GARCIA GET A LITTLE BUMP TOO. JUST TO MAKE HIM HAPPIER AND A HAPPY GARCIA WOULD BE PRETTY FORMITABLE RIGHT? AS FOR BRINGING ALEXANDER..THAT CERTAINLY WOULDNT HURT BUT ITS GETTING A LITTLE CROWDED IN THAT DEPARTMENT NOW. HE WOULD BE AWESOME IF HE RETURNS TO ALL-PRO FORM THOUGH. DUNN, ALEXANDER, GRAHAM, BENNETT BACKFIELD? WOW…......THATS IMPRESSIVE. ONE OF THE BEST TALENTED RUNNING BACK POSITIONS WE HAVE EVER HAD AT THE SAME TIME FOR SURE.
