Allen to quit begging Plummer to suit up, well not really
The Pewter Report explains how the Buccaneers intend to quit begging retired QB Jake Plummer to come and play and they expect him to suit up in a court room.
All you really need to hear is this exerpt:
"The Bucs and Broncos have filed three grievances against quarterback Jake Plummer over the last year. The long-awaited grievance hearing is expected to be held later this month. The Bucs are attempting to recover up to $7 million worth of bonus money Plummer received while playing in Denver." - Jim Flynn of the Pewter Report
I hate the fact that the Bucs are even in this situation, what a dumb move it was to trade a draft pick for the opportunity to bank $7 million, are you serious? $7 Million bucks? I guess if you're Jeff Garcia, you're hopeful the Bucs recoup the chump change and throw it your way. Chances are they'll sink it into aging veterans who have no shot of making a difference on the playing field. What a joke
