QB Chris Simms finally speaks out... Sad Day
I gotta get to work, but check out the recent Bucs Beat post on Chris Simms, my goodness what a read:
"How can I look (Gruden) in the eye when I know he wanted me cut last year. He did not want me to be part of the team and I have a lot of resentment about that. Nine or 10 months after a serious injury, I put my life on the line, it was the most serious injury they've ever been associated with, I worked as hard as I could to get back and he wasn't even going to give me a full year" said Simms. - Bucs Beat
I'll add my input tonight... Crazy situation, the Glazers helped Simms in a way, but also strangle holded him at the same time... Sad Story ... i know, i know, he still got paid millions...

Interesting Article
I’ll preface this by saying that I’m not a Bucs fan nor do I regularly follow them, but I saw a really interesting article on Football Outsiders about Earnest Graham. More specifically it was about his performance against the Giants on a particular drive, his overall value as a running back, and whether the team should offer him a big pay day.
I thought it would be interesting to hear any Bucs’ fans responses to this, seeing as how Graham is an intriguing player that I know next to nothing about.

THE SIMMS SAGA
WOW WHY DID IT COME TO THIS? IS GRUDEN REALLY AS BAD AS ALOT OF PLAYERS THAT LEFT HERE HAVE SAID? SIMMS WAS A DECENT QB AND WAS HURT PRETTY BAD IN THAT GAME. BUT NOW HE WANTS OUT AND ALSO SAID GRUDEN NEVER ONCE ASKED HOW HE WAS FEELING. SHEESH. TRADE HIM LIKE HE WANTS AND TURN THE PAGE ON THIS STORY. HE WILL BE GONE BEFORE LONG I THINK. MAYBE RIGHT HERE IN THE NFC SOUTH PROBALLY.

Tough situation for Gruden and Bucs. They could have handled better.
