Another week another win! The Bucs have now have won 3 in a row and are keeping pace with the Panthers for first place in the division. The Buccaneers were trailing 17-0 before the first quarter was even over. But the offense awoke in the second quarter, scoring three unanswered touchdowns to take the lead before halftime. It was all down hill for the Lions from that point on. The Bucs defense only allowed 3points in the second half and keeped the Lions in check through out the whole game. Final score Bucs 38 Lions 20. Tampa Bay now improves to 8-3 with the victory, their second-best mark after 11 games after their 9-2 start in 2002. And yes we won the Super Bowl that year but lets no get ahead of our selves now! In this game everyone contributed from special teams, defense, and yes even the offense. Ronde had two interceptions today(the only two of the season) and one was returned for 65 yards for a TD! Jeff Garcia threw his first multi TD game of the season connecting with Hillard and Stevens. Clifton Smith helped the Bucs pull away at the beginning of the second half when he took a punt at his own 30, shot through the first line of tacklers, faked out punter Nick Harris at midfield and galloped 70 yards for a touchdown. Also Cadallac Williams returned for the first time in over more then a year and had 16 carries for 27 yards. Nothing special but a step in the right direction now that Graham is out for the year. We are looking better and Iam glad we scored alot of points, yes it was the Lions but I'll take it! Lets Go BUCS
