Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a winning record, eh
Sunday's match-up with the Broncos sucked the life out of me. I don't have it in me to complete a 'Report Card' feature this week. Do you really need me to tell you the Quarterback play was inconclusive, that the running game (as usual) showed up, and that Gruden still elected to throw the ball? Nah, I didnt think so and so I will spare us both... The defense played phenominal as usual. Sure there wasnt much of a pass rush and there werent any splash plays, but 16 points to an offense like the Broncos is very respectable. Moving on...
Let's turn the page on a rotten game and look toward the possible wood shed beating this Sunday. In the fan post section, Jaxon from Cat Scratch Reader, our Carolina Panthers Blog will ask Bucs fans for any and all questions pertaining to his Panthers. You don't have to worry, I have my Julius Peppers questions locked and loaded, so you might want to ask him about something else. Keep an eye on the Fan Post section, as that was a pretty fun and informative feature leading up to the Broncos game (why) last week..

THE BRONCO GAME
I agree totally man. We should`ve ran more and took more chances with the passing game upfield. I thought GRUDEN was an offensive guru. Do you think possibly the game has passed him by? Everyone knows what our game plan is every week it seems. We have a good solid running game why in the hell are`nt we using it? Its frustrating watching this team knowing we can put points on the board. I really like GRUDEN but man I`m second quessing my feelings bad now. The GLAZERS should ask around for BILL COWHER. That guy would run first and throw second right? Anyone can see that we should, announcers too. Even the NFL TODAY panel said why does`nt he call GRAHAMNS and DUNNS number more often. We even had BENNETT activated sunday and used him (what) twice? Ridiculus man…totally. a disgusted BUCFAN..STIXX and P.S. Oh yeah, now we have the PANTHERS coming next week.

definitely not looking forward to the Panthers game
I will say i think Gruden is the man for the job. He’s just had piss poor options at Quarterback. Which is sad, because he brought in Bruce Allen and for what? Monte Kiffin has got that defense playing top notch football, where Allen consistently provides Gruden with bottom of the barrel talent on offense. It’s got to be partially Gruden’s fault however, as he definitely makes his case for who his personnel ends up being.
the team needs an overhaul in terms of scouting offensive talent, because the plays are there, the players arent able to execute them for whatever reason…
i love Gruden’s passion too much to give up on him and can’t stomach the thought of just throwing away those two 1st round draft picks we gave up for him. Regardless of what people say he won us a Superbowl and that shouldnt be overlooked in a win-now environment in the NFL. Look at the QB’s he’s had: Simms, Gradkowski, Garcia, McCown, Griese…. its laughable… no wonder our offense is inept.
Again though, he should be smacking Bruce Allen around every chance he gets, because he’s probably got the most out of his QB’s and WR’s he could ever ask for, its just not enough

Wow, not the attitude I was expecting
I would have thought you guys felt you’re still the best team in the NFC South. You’ve got your weaknesses as a team sure, every one does, but the Bucs had a knack for winning the close ones last season. I guess it comes back to the QB spot and a lack of confidence there. I’d rather see Griese because Garcia has killed the Panthers recently.

i never thought we
were the best team in the NFC South… the best defense? heck yeah, but our offense is and continues to be an inconsistent mess…. From the outside we’re (3-2), but we didnt deserve to win two of those three match-ups…
This isnt to say or act like the sky is falling, as our defense wont allow this team to finish poorly, but the offense doesnt breed confidence. like you said,,
