Lost amidst the celebrations from yesterdays Bucs and Rays wins was WR Ike Hilliard and the status of his injury. For those that didnt see it Hilliard got 'BLOWN UP' early in the second quarter. He got sandwiched in between Seahawks LB's Leroy Hill and Lofa Tatupu, sustained a helmet to helmet hit, and fumbled the ball. You could instantly see Ike lose all consciousness once he got hit. The good news is Ike Hilliard only suffered a concussion and spent the night in the hospital. Clearly he shouldnt play this week against Dallas, although he wanted to return in the second half against the Seahawks. It was a pretty freaky moment in the game, as I've never seen the cart called upon so quickly after a hit. The Seahawks Leroy Hill should expect a fine at some point this week as he clearly led with his helmet. To only escape with a concussion is amazing after the whiplash his head and neck went through... yikes, ike
