Buccaneers to wear the 'Throwbacks' next season

On the heels of the news that the Buccaneers will finally incorporate a ‘Ring of Honor’ for their franchise, they have also announced a Throwback (Jersey) game for next season as well.

This has been long overdue for this franchise. I’d say just about every franchise in the NFL has donned throwback unis and the Bucs will finally follow suit next season. Derrick Brooks is the only remaining player on the team that had to wear those creamsicle jerseys. Should they wear them against a NFC South rival or out of conference opponent? I’m going for out of conference…

There was always this rumor...

…that until the final player that had worn one of the orange uniforms was gone, they wouldn’t wear them. Always thought that was kind of funny.

I’d like to see them too. As much as everyone hated them back in the day, they’ve become a hot item the past few years.

I would say they wear them against whatever NFC North opponent they get to bring back the old memories of the NFC Central.

i could never

understand the rumor that the Glazers didnt want to be associated with the Cream Sicle days… if that were true they would never have endorsed the usage of ‘Orange’ in the their new jerseys (which i wish they had ex-nayed)…
