NFL is MISSING out on Jersey Revenue like Crazy

The NFL may have MLB whopped in ratings as I argued here, but MLB is bringing in Revenue where the NFL for some reason, has decided not to.
or better known as Training Camp Jerseys for the NFL. In a market in which you can purchase Used Jerseys, Autographed Helmets, and a whole lot more, you would think Training Camp Jerseys would be available for purchase. MLB sells a ton of Spring Training Jerseys every season. So why not the NFL? I can't imagine how many merchandising dollars the NFL has lost over the years by not producing these jerseys. At this point it's a shame that consumers have to point out products they would buy had they had the option to do so. What do you have to say for yourself?

Cant even get throwback stuff......yet
Its the throwback year, I was looking fwd to buying up a whole bunch of orange merchandise, yet right now there is only one orange jersey at the mall. Every other place I called said the same thing “try the mall”. Your probably right though..those cool fonts on the jerseys would be nice. Maybe a pewter jersey?
Just think, last year if we would have gotten Brett Favre, maybe WE would have lost 4 of last 5 games of the season like the Jets.....DOH!!!

it would be cool
to have alternate pewter jerseys, have them trot out there in all pewter, that would look pretty sweet….
hopefully they correct the lack of throwback material as the season approaches (doubtful)

Sports FanAttic...
…always seems to have stuff. At least around the season. I know the one in Citrus Park Mall (for those of you in the Tampa area) had a good number of throwback shirts and hats over the last few years. That’s where I got my stuff.
As for throwback jerseys, it still seems to be limited to Cadillac, Selmon, Williams, Brooks, Lynch, and Sapp.
They did make those practice jerseys with the “pirate” font numbers a few years back, but I haven’t seen them in a while.

I do not like the idea of nfl jerseys becoming live Ads board.
